Allergies Dr. Leffler will discuss your pet's clinical history and environmental surroundings with you. After excluding other possible causes for your pet's symptoms, he my prescribe a blood test. A small amount of blood will be drawn from your pet and sent to the lab. Your pet's serum will be tested for sensitivity to a panel of grass, tree and weed allergans specific for your geographical area, as well as, to other important allergans such as, dust mites, molds or cat dander. The blood test can also identify your pet's sensitivity to specific foods. |
